Asia-Pacific Data Centre Association Launched in Singapore to Advocate for Data Centre Industry

The Asia-Pacific Data Centre Association (APDCA) was launched on January 8, 2024, in Singapore to represent the collective interests of the data center industry in the Asia-Pacific region. The APDCA, which includes founding members such as AirTrunk, Digital Realty, Equinix, and others, aims to work with governments to co-develop policies that support the sustainable growth of the data center industry. According to Structure Research, the APAC data center colocation market supported 10,233 megawatts (MW) of critical IT capacity in 2023, representing about 40% of the global market, and is projected to grow at a 13.3% 5-year CAGR to 19,069 MW by 2028. The APDCA is committed to supporting the interests of its members, the industry, and the communities they serve.
