January 1, 2024
Bulk Infrastructure has begun the expansion of the Oslo Internet Exchange (OS-IX), Norway's most connected data center, with three new data halls. The expansion, designed to meet increased demand for sustainable data center services, will add a total of 5.5MW capacity, doubling the current capacity to make OS-IX the largest data center in the Oslo area. Construction has started and the new capacity will be ready for service in the first quarter of 2025. The expansion will cater to high-density workloads, including AI and HPC requirements, as well as traditional data center services.
