Green Mountain Partners with Hewlett Packard Enterprise to Deliver AI and HPC Workloads in Sustainable Data Centers in Norway
Green Mountain, a company known for operating sustainable and energy-efficient data centers, is partnering with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) to expand its capacity to deliver high-demand artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC) workloads. The additional capacity will be hosted across two of Green Mountain's locations in Norway, catering to HPE customers seeking flexible and sustainable access to compute. The partnership aligns with HPE's commitment to reducing carbon footprint and minimizing environmental impact. Green Mountain's data centers are designed to handle the power supply, liquid cooling, and high-density AI infrastructure requirements of such workloads. The company also plans to reuse excess heat produced by the data centers for other industries, such as delivering heated water to a nearby land-based fish farm.
