On August 20, 2024, ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC) Philippines announced the opening of its upgraded facility in Makati City, marking an important step in its expansion efforts to meet the increasing demand for data center capacity. The renovated and expanded Data Hall F of STT Makati, formerly known as Globe MK2 Data Center, has a total IT load capacity of over 5MW. The company is also progressing with the construction of STT Fairview, set to be operational by 2025 with an IT capacity of 124MW, and STT Cavite 2, expected to deliver up to 6MW of total IT capacity. These expansions underline STT GDC Philippines' commitment to enabling digital transformation in the country.
