STACK Infrastructure Raises $3.3 Billion in Green Financing for Global Data Center Development
STACK Infrastructure, a leading global developer and operator of data centers, announced on April 9, 2024, that it has raised $3.3 billion in green financing for global data center development. This brings STACK's total secured financing to over $11 billion. The funds will be used to develop water and energy-efficient digital infrastructure in Silicon Valley, with $1.4 billion allocated for this purpose, and $750 million directed towards facilities in Loudoun County, Virginia. STACK's campuses in Milan, Italy, will also benefit from $1.2 billion of the financing to support water-efficient infrastructure and enhanced power-usage effectiveness. STACK's CEO, Brian Cox, emphasized the company's commitment to helping clients meet their sustainability targets with efficient, AI-ready capacity.
