On September 13, 2023, in Singapore at TOKEN2049, Zilliqa Group announced a strategic alliance with Google Cloud to enhance the Zilliqa blockchain's scalability, resilience, and data availability. This multi-year collaboration will see Google Cloud becoming a staked seed node operator on the Zilliqa network, joining 28 existing operators to support transaction validation and network decentralization. Zilliqa Group will also utilize Google Cloud's infrastructure to bolster its blockchain technology, leveraging Google Kubernetes Engine for network stability and Security Command Center for threat management. Additionally, Zilliqa will use BigQuery, Google Cloud's serverless data warehouse, to improve blockchain data transparency and accessibility. This partnership aims to foster innovation and growth in Web3 services and decentralized applications (dApps) by providing a more robust platform for Zilliqa's ecosystem, which spans gaming, decentralized finance (DeFi), loyalty programs, and the spatial web. Furthermore, to support its distributed workforce across 15 countries, Zilliqa Group has adopted Google Workspace, enhancing collaboration and productivity among its teams.
