AtlasEdge, a leading European Edge data center platform, has announced plans to expand its footprint in Portugal with two new sites in Lisbon. These facilities will be powered by 100% renewable energy and will have zero water wastage. The sites will be developed using AtlasEdge's proprietary AgileEdge strategy, which combines modular construction, traditional onsite build, and smart supply chain management for rapid and quality site development. The facilities will also support high-density deployments and will recover and reuse 100% of waste heat. This expansion adds to AtlasEdge's existing presence across 20 different metros in 13 countries. The company has made significant progress in 2024, announcing new sites in Hamburg and Leeds, and an acquisition in Vienna.
