Colt Data Centre Services (Colt DCS), a provider of hyperscale and large enterprise data center solutions, has launched the Central Telemetry Platform. Developed in partnership with global consulting firm Protiviti, the platform allows customers to use real-time telemetry data to manage their data center workloads. Customers can monitor power usage, temperatures, and electricity usage for cooling, and use these insights to shift processing loads, track equipment maintenance, and improve energy usage. The platform collects local data and centralizes it into one platform, accessible via an API, enabling customers to build their own applications to monitor the insights.
