On June 6, 2024, Digital Edge, a rapidly growing data center platform in Asia, and Peak Energy Investments, a leading renewable developer and independent power producer, announced a partnership to pursue renewable energy production projects to power Digital Edge data centers across the region. The partnership aims to pursue an initial pipeline of 500 MW of operating capacity for existing and planned data centers over a three-year period. These projects are expected to support the decarbonization of up to 1 GW of power and generate more than 1,300 GWh per year. The partnership aligns with both companies' sustainability objectives, with Digital Edge aiming to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030.
