Vantage Data Centers, a leading global provider of hyperscale data center campuses, announced on April 11, 2024, that it will open a second Zurich campus (ZRH2) in the summer. The new campus, located 30 kilometers north of Zurich's City Center, will provide 24MW of critical IT capacity and 21,000 square meters of space. Combined with Vantage’s flagship Zurich campus (ZRH1), the two campuses will offer customers a total of 64MW of capacity. The new campus, which is the company's 33rd globally, is designed to support artificial intelligence and other high-performance computing applications. Vantage is committed to achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2030 and ZRH2 will feature industry-leading power usage effectiveness (PUE) and water usage effectiveness (WUE) to support energy-efficient operations.
