Digital Realty, a global provider of data center solutions, announced a collaboration with Oracle on May 2, 2024, to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) among enterprises. Oracle will deploy GPU-based infrastructure in a Digital Realty data center in Northern Virginia to cater to a range of enterprises and AI customers. This collaboration builds upon an existing partnership between the two companies, which includes multiple global deployments, 11 Oracle Cloud Infrastructure FastConnect points of presence, and a recent Oracle Solution Center deployment in Frankfurt. The partnership aims to unlock new data-driven business outcomes and address Data Gravity challenges.
