On August 6, 2024, PolyAI, a leader in customer-led conversational AI solutions, announced a Strategic Collaboration Agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to accelerate the adoption of generative voice AI capabilities in enterprise contact centers. PolyAI will use AWS as its preferred cloud provider, leveraging Amazon SageMaker and Amazon Bedrock. The collaboration will allow PolyAI to train and fine-tune a suite of speech recognition, large language models, and text-to-speech models specifically adapted for customer service interactions. PolyAI's voice assistants will be available on AWS Marketplace and integrated with Amazon Connect. The company aims to be the voice of half of all service calls globally in the next five years.
