Vantage Data Centers Breaks Ground on Second Cyberjaya Campus in Malaysia

On August 6, 2024, Vantage Data Centers, a leading global provider of hyperscale data center campuses, announced the groundbreaking of its second Cyberjaya campus (KUL2) in Malaysia. The new campus, which is adjacent to Vantage's existing campus (KUL1), will be set on 35 acres of land and will deliver 256MW of IT capacity at full build-out to support cloud adoption and the growth of artificial intelligence (AI). The project, which is part of a planned $3 billion investment in Malaysia, will make Vantage the owner of the largest hyperscale data center campus in the city. Once both KUL1 and KUL2 are fully developed, Vantage will have a total of 287MW of IT capacity in Malaysia. The announcement was celebrated with a groundbreaking ceremony attended by several Malaysian government agencies and local partners.
