Yondr Group and JK Land Holdings Break Ground on Second 48MW Data Center in Loudoun County, Virginia
Yondr Group, a global leader in hyperscale data centers, in partnership with JK Land Holdings, LLC (JKLH), has begun construction on its second 48MW data center in Loudoun County, Northern Virginia, as announced on February 12, 2024. This follows the energizing of its first 48MW data center in the same county two months prior, bringing the total to a 96MW two-building campus. The data center's design ensures zero reliance on local water supplies, reflecting Yondr's commitment to sustainability and its goal to achieve net zero by 2030 for scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions. The project, representing a $2 billion investment in future-ready data center infrastructure, is expected to deliver numerous socio-economic benefits, including job creation and talent development.
