On November 19, 2024, Yondr Group, a leading global developer, owner, and operator of hyperscale data centers, announced the completion of its first 48MW data center in Loudoun County, Northern Virginia. The project, completed within two years of breaking ground in 2022, is part of a larger plan to deliver a total capacity of 336MW on its Loudoun County campus. The first phase of the project, done in partnership with JK Land Holdings, LLC (JKLH), involves two buildings providing 96MW of critical cloud capacity, with an additional 240MW of capacity planned for an adjacent land parcel. Yondr Group's project emphasizes sustainability, with a closed-loop cooling design that minimizes reliance on local water supplies. The company is also progressing with projects in North America, EMEA, and APAC, including a second Northern Virginia facility, a data center in Frankfurt, Germany, and a project in Johor, Malaysia.
