Yondr Group, a leading global developer, owner, and operator of hyperscale data centers, announced on March 13, 2024, the energization of its first campus in Malaysia, located in Johor's Sedenak Tech Park. The campus, which is set to deliver 300MW of critical IT capacity when fully complete, is part of Yondr's APAC expansion strategy and marks a significant milestone in the company's entry into the Malaysian market. The energization follows a strategic partnership with Tenaga Nasional Berhad, a multinational Malaysian electricity company, secured in August 2023. This partnership enables the delivery of a 300MW+ IT load at Yondr’s Johor campus via a 275kV high voltage substation, making Yondr’s site the largest hyperscale data center campus in Southeast Asia.
