OVHcloud Partners with Maroc Datacenter to Open its First Local Zone in Africa in Rabat, Morocco

OVHcloud, the European leader in cloud computing, announced on May 30, 2024, its partnership with Maroc Datacenter to open its first Local Zone in Africa, located in Rabat, Morocco. This move is part of OVHcloud's strategy to expand in Africa, with further deployments planned in South Africa, Kenya, and Tunisia for 2025. The Rabat Local Zone, which will offer Moroccan customers access to the Group's Public Cloud services with reduced latency and local data hosting, is part of OVHcloud's global growth plan to open up to 150 Local Zones by 2026. The partnership with Maroc Datacenter will also help OVHcloud tailor its offerings to the Moroccan market.
