On December 7, 2023, Alibaba Cloud, the digital technology division of Alibaba Group, announced a partnership with the Office of Academic Resources of Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand. As part of the collaboration, the first worldwide Alibaba Cloud Academy Skills Center was launched on the university campus. The center offers free training courses, bootcamps with certifications, AI competition opportunities, and leadership development programs to students and the public. The training courses cover a range of cutting-edge technologies, starting with Generative AI and followed by cloud computing theme courses. Additionally, the university has leveraged Alibaba Cloud’s media solutions for live-streaming university events and online teaching, enhancing efficiency and user experience. The skills center also serves as a recruitment platform, offering job and internship opportunities.
