TAGTHAi, Thailand's official travel super app, has collaborated with Google Cloud to launch 'Design My Trip', a generative AI-powered tool that allows travelers to create personalized trip itineraries for Thailand within seconds. Announced on September 18, 2024, the tool uses Google Cloud's Vertex AI platform and first-party foundation models to simplify travel planning. The initial version of Design My Trip offers tailored one-to-three-day itineraries for the Bangkok Metropolitan Region, considering specific interests of users and providing information on travel time, directions, reviews, and more. Since its release in June 2024, the tool has generated unique itineraries for thousands of active TAGTHAi app users.
