ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (Indonesia) or PT STT GDC Indonesia, a leading data centre services provider based in Singapore, and the Indonesian Internet Service Provider Association (APJII) announced a strategic partnership on August 8, 2024. The partnership aims to expand the coverage of Indonesia Internet Exchange’s (IIX) in Greater Jakarta by establishing an IIX node in STT Jakarta 1. This collaboration is expected to make STT Jakarta 1 the focal point of internet traffic exchange in the region and support the growth of Indonesia’s digital economy by building a robust ecosystem with local technology and connectivity partners. The signing ceremony took place at STT JKT 1, STT GDC Indonesia’s first data centre facility in Cikarang, Bekasi, Jawa Barat.
