atNorth, a leading Nordic colocation, high-performance computing, and artificial intelligence service provider, has appointed Jörgen Larsson as Director of Hyperscale Operations. Larsson, who has 20 years of experience in the data center industry, will oversee the startup of all new atNorth data centers as part of the company's expansion strategy. Prior to joining atNorth, Larsson worked with Meta (formerly Facebook), where he played a key role in the company's global expansion. atNorth's expansion plans include the acquisition of two data centers in Finland and the opening of a new site in Iceland in 2023, as well as the development of three new sites in Finland and Denmark set to open in late 2024 and 2025.
