This makes Compass one of a select group of data center service providers to earn this distinction, reflecting its commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. The validation confirms that all waste generated at the Toronto data center is responsibly recycled and diverted, minimizing environmental impact. Compass aims to achieve and maintain UL Zero Waste standards at all its campuses and is currently in the process of validating other sites. The company's broader sustainability strategy includes initiatives to enhance energy efficiency, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, positively impact water resources, and improve the environments surrounding its campuses.
