On September 26, 2024, Global Switch, a leading carrier-neutral data centre operator, announced the launch of advanced liquid cooling capabilities at its data centre in Hong Kong. This is the first demonstration of new liquid cooling technologies in Hong Kong and is designed to meet the demanding requirements of AI-driven applications. The new capabilities will significantly reduce energy consumption and operational costs associated with high-density computing environments, making the data centre an ideal solution for AI workloads. The development is a result of a collaboration with CBC Tech, a next-gen Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) provider, aiming to support AI companies across China and globally with high-performance network and data centre solutions.
