On September 19, 2024, ODATA, an Aligned Data Centers company and provider of data center services for Latin America, announced a 135% increase in its wind power supply from the Assuruá IV wind farm in Xique-Xique, Bahia. This expansion is driven by a new agreement with Serena Energia, a global leader in renewable energy supply. ODATA was the first hyperscale data center in Latin America to achieve 100% renewable energy usage in Brazil, aligning with its commitment to fueling its rapid expansion with clean, renewable energy. The expansion of this partnership is expected to be completed upon meeting certain usual precedent conditions, reinforcing ODATA's mission to enhance digital infrastructure with high sustainability standards.
