ODATA Announces Construction of Two New Data Centers in Bogotá, Colombia with 144MW Capacity

On October 23, 2024, ODATA, a data center services provider for Latin America, announced the construction of two new data centers in Cundinamarca, Bogotá, Colombia, with a combined capacity of 144MW. The facilities, named DC BG02 and DC BG03, represent a total investment of $1.3 billion and are expected to be completed by the end of 2026. DC BG02 will provide 24MW of IT capacity, while DC BG03 will offer a substantial 120MW. DC BG03 will be Colombia’s largest data center and the first in the country to have a direct connection to the local power transmission system. This expansion solidifies ODATA’s position as a leading data center provider in the country and the broader Latin American region.
