OVHcloud Expands SecNumCloud Strategy with New Datacenter in Gravelines, France

On January 9th, 2024, in Roubaix, OVHcloud, the leading European cloud provider, announced the expansion of its SecNumCloud product offerings with a new zone in Gravelines, France. This addition complements existing zones in Roubaix and Strasbourg, enhancing the company's Hosted Private Cloud solutions, which have achieved the SecNumCloud 3.2 qualification from the French Cybersecurity Agency (ANSSI). This qualification underscores OVHcloud's commitment to providing the highest standards of security and data protection, catering to industries and administrations with critical data hosting needs. OVHcloud's efforts align with France’s Cloud at the Center strategy, requiring sensitive data hosting on qualified cloud platforms. With over 80 customers utilizing its SecNumCloud qualified solutions, OVHcloud is set to expand its offerings, including a Bare Metal option and extending SecNumCloud qualification across its 40 Public Cloud products. Additionally, OVHcloud is preparing for the European Union Certification Scheme (EUCS) certification, aiming to offer high protection against extraterritorial laws.
