On November 28th, 2023, OVHcloud, the European cloud leader, celebrated its tenth anniversary Summit in Paris, at La Maison de la Mutualité, with over 1,500 attendees. The Summit featured OVHcloud founder Octave Klaba, CEO Michel Paulin, CTO Thierry Souche, and CPO Yaniv Fdida, who emphasized the company's mission of "Innovation for Freedom." OVHcloud has introduced over 40 products across 8 services in the Public Cloud, including security, compute, storage, and AI, since its inception 24 years ago. With strong financial results for the full year 2023, OVHcloud is on a robust growth path, addressing the cloud market's challenges and setting an ambitious outlook for the new fiscal year. The Summit highlighted the importance of a trusted cloud, showcasing OVHcloud's commitment to data protection with certifications like ISO 27001 and the HDS for healthcare data. The company announced a third SecNumCloud Data Center to open in Gravelines, France, in December 2023, joining existing ones in Roubaix and Strasbourg, and plans to extend SecNumCloud qualification to its IaaS and PaaS offerings. OVHcloud is also advocating for a European Union Certification Scheme (EUCS) to standardize cloud security certifications across the EU.
