Prime Announces Plans to Develop 40MW Data Center in Madrid, Spain
Prime, an international hyperscale and wholesale data center provider, announced plans on May 22, 2024, to develop a 26,000 square-meter data center in Madrid, Spain. The company has secured 7.6 acres in Alcobendas for the facility, which will be able to deliver 40 megawatts of critical power. The data center, named Prime Madrid, will be developed according to customer demand and will cater to hyperscale cloud and artificial intelligence power density requirements. The new facility is part of Prime's expansion plan, which includes twenty-two owned and optioned locations in the United States and Europe.
