Prominent data center service providers in Thailand, including AIMS Data Centre (Thailand), Evolution DC (Thailand), NTT Global Data Centers (Thailand) Limited, STT GDC Thailand, and Telehouse (Thailand), came together on January 25, 2024, to establish the Thailand Data Centre Council (TDCC). The TDCC, a first-of-its-kind strategic alliance in Thailand, aims to boost the country's digital infrastructure. The council will represent industry stakeholders, advocate for regulatory changes, assist members in international business expansion, foster professional development, advocate for ethical practices, and undertake activities to bolster the development of Thailand's data center industry. The council's primary objective is to promote the data center sector and establish a network of digital infrastructure service providers in Thailand, with a shared vision of making the country the data center hub of Southeast Asia.
