NTT DATA, a global leader in digital business and IT services, announced on February 23, 2024, that TC Global Investments Americas LLC, a subsidiary of Tokyo Century Corporation, is investing in NTT Global Data Centers' business in Chicago, Illinois. NTT DATA, the world's third-largest colocation data center provider, has seen its data center business grow exponentially in recent years due to increasing digital demand. The Chicago data center campus, where TC Global Investments Americas LLC is investing, will comprise three data centers and provide a total of 104MW critical IT capacity. To meet the growing demand for data centers, driven by cloud services and the broader use of generative AI, NTT Group is continuing to develop and build data centers globally, with over $10 billion invested in data center growth for fiscal years 2023-27.
