DataBank, a leading provider of enterprise-class colocation, connectivity, and managed services, announced on January 10, 2024, another expansion of its SLC6 data center in Salt Lake City. The expansion, expected to be completed in Q1 2024, will add 25,000 square feet of raised floor space and 5MW of critical power. This is in addition to a previously announced expansion, also due for completion in Q1 2024, which will add another 25,000 square feet of raised floor space and 6MW of critical power. Once both expansions are completed, SLC6 will feature 88,250 square feet of raised floor space and 22MW of critical power. This expansion comes as Salt Lake City is becoming a rapidly growing technology hub and a preferred data center location.
